1) What has been your most memorable show so far?
2) Which local band is your favorite one to play a show with?
It’s a toss up between Oceana, The Dream Delirium, and Le Blorr. We talk to some more than others, and they are all different styles so it’s hard to decide, but they are cool guys and all play a killer show.
3) What description gets used for your band that you would most like to correct people on? Why?
The band was reviewed in the Orlando Weekly and it stated we had a “huge jones for The Mars Volta,” and that haunts us every where we go, so we try to shy away from that as much as possible. I mean, we dig The Mars Volta but we don’t want to be stamped as a copycat band, and there are a lot of other bands that we are influenced by, like RX Bandits and Circa Survive.
4) What’s your favorite thing about being an Orlando band? What’s your least favorite?
The positive side of being an Orlando band is that if you’re good you get recognition and it’s easy to build a fan base. The downside is that we sometimes play shows with bands that are polar opposites of us, so we don’t share the same fans, and half the people at the show will be going crazy for one band while the other half is just waiting for them to end.
5) Any big news to share?
We are entering the studio to record our first full-length album called Manuvarian that we should be able to release sometime next winter. So keep an eye out for updates on our Facebook! It’s gonna be really different from our EP and a lot more like the live show.
