Plain Jane Automobile makes an impact on both coasts

Check it out. The Plain Jane Automobile boys just released their Your Tomorrow album, and have hit the road to support it. They got a little head start last week, though.

Way back on May 8, PJA got a spin on Nic Harcourt’s esteemed KCRW show in L.A., when their “You Were Only A Song” got played alongside Harcourt’s typically adult-eclectic mix of bands like Doves, Wye Oak, My Morning Jacket, etc. The proof:

And then, just yesterday, the New York Daily News reviewed the band’s show at Bowery Electric with some super-effusive praise, comparing the band to U2 right there in the lede. Check out the review here.

Not bad, boys, not bad at all.
