Kritter Crawl benefit in the works to help Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge

What are you, totally heartless?

As Bao Le-Huu mentioned on the Orlando Weekly site the other day, there’s a benefit in the works to help out the cash-strapped Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge. Not to repeat everything he so forcefully said in his blog post, but this is a damned good cause, so yeah, I’m gonna pretty much just repeat everything he said so forcefully in his blog post:

Back to Nature has been helping wild animals in Central Florida for more than two decades, and is the largest wildlife refuge in the area. These people – most of whom are volunteers – are doing God’s work, but the funding from our Corporate Republican overlords is nonexistent, and if these folks don’t get a major cash infusion fast, they’re gonna have to close.

To that end, Chris Jay is putting together a multi-venue benefit on April 3. It’s gonna be called the “Kritter Crawl,” it’s gonna be at Will’s, Uncle Lou’s, and Peacock, and it needs bands. Email Chris now if you want to be involved. Additionally, if you want to just throw some money at Back To Nature, you can (and should) do so at this link.

DO IT.
