Mr. Pussy is coming … and now we know when [UPDATED]

A couple of weeks ago, I let you know that Mr. Pussy – a new band featuring Phil Longo (Basements of Florida, Country Slashers … and, shit, 100 other bands), Max Green (Great Deceivers), Eric Pitman (VRGNS), and Andrew LaCour (Khann) – was on its way. I also let you know that it scared me as much as it excited me. Exciting because, hell, it’s bound to be a heavy, loud, and awesome band. Scary because, well, Mr. Pussy. What does that even MEAN? (And for those of you who may be worried about Max Green being out of his element up there, please rest assured, his punk bona fides are well in hand.)

Anyway, not only have I been assured that my fear and my excitement were both valid, I’ve also been told when the world will get to witness the debut of Mr. Pussy: April 4 at Will’s Pub. Thankfully, the lineup for the show is one that’s pretty much guaranteed to generate a lot of unwanted Google traffic to this very post [UPDATED, SEE BELOW]:

  • Cock Sparrer tribute set
  • Mr. Pussy
  • Teenage Softies
  • No Friends

Yeah, that should be good for as many mis-fired search-engine hits as whatever post pointed the person searching for “tattoo anus video” to the blog the other day.

[UPDATE 3/21: It looks like the lineup for the April 4 show has shifted a bit. The show will now be Mr. Pussy, No Qualms, and No Dick. No Friends and Teenage Softies will be playing Will’s on April 6. As for the Cock Sparrer set? Well, who knows?]
